WHO WE ARE

Dani and Simon Murdoch, co-founders and trustees of Brighter Start, began by wanting to help children to have access to a good education. After being introduced to a family who were desperate for their children to be well-educated, but who were not eligible for a local school place, they decided to help. Since then, Brighter Start has assisted numerous children to be educated at the Waterberg Academy in Vaalwater, as well as donating to children's homes in the area, built a creche and provided much needed clothing, school uniforms, hygiene products and travel expenses for children to go to school.
