WHAT WE DO
Brighter Start extends a hand of support to less fortunate families, ensuring that their children receive the gift of quality education. Brighter Start focuses on the education and welfare of children and young people in Southern Africa. Through their dedicated efforts, they pave the way for these children to embrace a brighter and more promising future, shaping a better tomorrow for the next generation.
OUR PROJECTS
THE WATERBERG ACADEMY
Brighter Start sponsors students to enroll in the esteemed Waterberg Academy, situated in Vaalwater. Our organization is dedicated to providing essential support to children facing challenges such as immigration restrictions, as well as those with exceptional talents requiring a specialized educational environment to unleash their full potential.
BOSCHDRAAI PRIMARY
In more recent years, Brighter Start is involved with a village primary school just outside of Vaalwater. Brighter Start is currently supplying new uniforms to the school in partnership with a primary school in Surrey, UK. We also have plans to build new classrooms as, currently, there are different grades sharing the same room and the infrastructure of the main building is crumbling.
AN EXTRA HELPING HAND
Where it is most needed we support children with bus fares, lunches, uniforms, hygiene products and any other additional products or services they need to be able to live a healthier, happier life so they can keep attending school. We have also donated to the living and running costs of children's homes around Vaalwater.
