THE WATERBERG ACADEMY
We sponsor children to go to the Waterberg Academy, in Vaalwater. We support those children who would not be able to attend the local school due to immigration restrictions, or those who are gifted and need a more targeted setting to fully reach their potential.
THE BUSHVELD MISSION
One of the main reasons Brighter Start was founded in 2009 was to support vulnerable children who are orphaned or in need of a safe home to live in. We support children's homes in the Waterberg area, such as the Bushveld Mission Children's home, where over 60 children live and learn together. Donations go towards food, shelter, education, medical and running expenses.
AN EXTRA HELPING HAND
Where it is most needed we support children with bus fares, lunches, uniforms, hygiene products and any other additional products or services they need to be able to live a healthier, happier life so they can keep attending school.
